Rayborn, a senior from Lake City High and North Idaho College, had 10 kills and eight digs for the Yotes (13-11, 11-5 Cascade Conference) in a 25-20, 20-25, 25-11, 25-14 loss to Eastern Oregon in La Grande on Tuesday.

Lewis-Clark State cross country
Gordon, a junior from Lake City High, finished 26th in a personal best 24 minutes, 57 seconds at Saturday's Lewis-Clark State Invitational at the Lewiston Orchards.
Brooklyn Shell
Lewis-Clark cross country
Shell, a senior from Coeur d'Alene High, finished 33rd in the Lewis-Clark State Invitational on Saturday at the Lewis-Clark State Course at the Lewiston Orchards. Shell finished in 18 minutes, 31 seconds.
Klaire Mitchell
Grand Canyon volleyball
Mitchell, a graduate student setter from Lake City High, was named Western Athletic Conference Setter of the Week, the conference announced. Mitchell also received the honor on Aug. 30, Sept. 13 and Oct. 4. Last week, Mitchell had 96 assists, 20 digs, 12 assists per set, eight blocks, five kills and four aces. Mitchell recorded her eighth double-double with 50 assists and 12 digs against Texas-Rio Grande Valley and tied her own three-set record of 46 against California Baptist on Monday.
• ACADEMIC AWARDS
The Cascade Collegiate Conference announced the 20203 Fall Academic all-conference selections.
To be named, a student-athlete must maintain a grade point average of 3.2 or higher and be at least a sophomore in standing.
