Molina, a junior forward, scored on a penalty kick in the 19th minute of the Timberwolves’ 3-1 win over Coeur d’Alene in the 5A Region 1 championship game on Oct. 11 at Lake City High. “Jacob wants to get better every single day and his development this season has been outstanding,” Lake City coach Kevin Jump said. “I’ve moved Jacob around in our formation this season, and he’s embraced these coaching decisions very positively. He’s always a threat to score goals,, but his unselfish play in the midfield has improved and our team has benefitted with his passing distribution.”
