Kootenai County sheriff plans town hall

COEUR d'ALENE — Kootenai County Sheriff Bob Norris will host a town hall discussion next month.

The town hall is set for 6:30 p.m. Nov. 8 on the first floor of the Kootenai County Administration Building, 451 N. Government Way.

During the discussion, Norris plans to share how he voted in the Nov. 7 election, according to a news release issued by by the sheriff’s office, and detail his agency’s “active shooter policy.”

He will also address legislative priorities for the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office and the Idaho Sheriff’s Association.

“Driver’s license for illegal aliens, petty theft limits, mandatory minimums and social issues will likely be discussed in the 23-24 lawmaking session,” the news release said.
