HANLEY and SHERIFF: Parents should decide what’s proper

Community library trustee Tom Hanley’s recent LTE applauding sheriff Bob for stealing public property he considers offensive is another example of authoritarianism promoted by the KCRCC.

We, a society of free people decide whether library materials are proper for our children, not some meddling old man like Hanley. We as parents know the needs of our children best, and unless we ask, we certainly don’t need government or religious organizations making those decisions for us.

Sheriff Bob, return our books now. As for the library board and its minders at the flush with out of state dark money KCRCC, try respecting and promoting our liberty, not minding our business.
