Lambert, a freshman, finished fourth in the state 5A golf tournament on Saturday at Lewiston Country Club. Lambert, who finished with a 3-under 141 and one stroke out of a playoff for first place, was the only golfer in the entire tournament under par both days. “He’s just steady out there,” Lake City boys golf coach Kelly Reed said. “He started the season mature and stayed mature the entire season. It was certainly fun to watch him all year.”
