Turkeys & More received two more donations to help vulnerable families at Thanksgiving. Brian Babb of White Pine Wealth donated $1,000 and the Panhandle Kiwanis Club wrote a check for $1,500. Evalyn Adams, founder of the nonprofit organization, said both of these organizations have donated in previous years and their continued support is appreciated. Babb is also a member of the Coeur d'Alene Coeur Group, which helps distribute the turkeys to 20 food banks and agencies serving those less fortunate in Kootenai County. In the past few weeks, CENTURY 21 Beutler & Associates has donated more than 1,000 pounds of food to a local food bank; collected a substantial amount of back packs and school supplies for local children; raised funds and awareness for missing children; and this month, are making a final push for donations to the Alzheimer's Walk at Riverstone Park.
