HAYDEN LAKE — A Coeur d'Alene man was arrested Tuesday after setting off an alarm in a Hayden Lake home.

Luke A. Concienne, 35, was booked into Kootenai County jail for unlawful entry, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a press release.

The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office received a call for service for a burglary in progress on Tuesday.

A homeowner received an alarm inside their residence and could see an unknown male on surveillance video inside their home, a KCSO press release said.

Prior to law enforcement’s arrival, the suspect left the residence and walked toward other homes.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 3500 block of Hayden Lake Road and found an additional unsecured residence, the release said.

"Deputies set up a perimeter around the residence and made several announcements for the suspect to exit," the release said. "After an extended amount of time, a male suspect exited the residence without further incident."

The suspect was identified as Concienne, who has an extensive criminal history in Kootenai County, the release said.
