Kosher potluck Thursday to benefit Family Promise

| October 3, 2023 1:00 AM

A Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) Jewish celebration and kosher potluck will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Q'emiln Park pavilion in Post Falls.

Calvary Lutheran Church and Beth Shalom Messianic Fellowship are presenting the potluck.

All community members of all spiritual backgrounds are invited to attend this free event. Free will offerings will be collected to benefit Family Promise of North Idaho.

Gathering outdoors is a tradition of Sukkot, one of the principle Jewish holidays that occurs each year.

Kosher foods include meat and dairy products from animals with split hooves.

Q'emiln Park is at 12201 W. Parkway Drive.
