Miller joins Association of Idaho Cities board
Coeur d’Alene City Councilmember Kiki Miller was recently sworn in to join the board of directors for the Association of Idaho Cities. She replaces Mayor Jim Hammond.
Miller will represent the 35 cities of District 1 for the next two years and has been a member of AIC for over 10 years.
AIC is comprised of 199 cities covering seven districts across the state. Each district has two representatives on the board.
Miller said the AIC is "one of the cornerstones" when it comes to training, education and resources for elected officials.
Being on the board also provides an opportunity to increase awareness of issues key to the five northern counties that Miller said sometimes don't get the attention they deserve.
"It's a good option to give our association a broader voice in front of the Legislature," she said.
