Holiday craft fairs, markets aplenty
'Tis the season for holiday craft fairs and Christmas bazaars.
Here are some upcoming events to help shoppers find unique gifts and add festive flair to their cozy homes this holiday season:
Friday, Dec. 1
Hayden Holiday Market | 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., 10724 N. Government Way, Hayden. Indoor holiday market with over 15 vendors. Free.
Outdoor European Christmas Market | 4-8 p.m., Finucane Park, 550 E. Prairie Ave., Hayden. A festive celebration with sights, sounds and flavors of a traditional European Christmas market. Unique crafts, treats and gifts. Live music, entertainment and activities for the whole family. Admission: $5.
Post Falls Parks and Recreation's Winterfest and Plaza Market | 4-8 p.m., Post Falls City Hall Plaza, 408 N. Spokane St., Post Falls. Activities for kids, Post Falls Museum holiday singalong, outdoor fire pits, holiday photo opportunities, vendors. Free.
Saturday, Dec. 2
Craft fair | 9 a.m., Christian Center School, 3639 W. Prairie Ave., Hayden. Indoor winter market.
Athol Farmers Christmas Market | 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Athol Community Center, 30355 Third St., Athol. One-stop Christmas shopping supporting local small businesses. Raffles, refreshments, entertainment, more than 50 vendors, "make and take" cedar wreaths.
North Idaho Christian School Christmas Market | 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., 251 W. Miles Ave., Hayden. More than 55 vendors, handmade gifts, raffle prizes, food and more. Free.
The Snowflake Faire | 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., St. Luke's Episcopal Church. 501 Wallace Ave., Coeur d'Alene. One-of-a-kind crafts and gifts, raffle prizes, baked goods and sweets, several vendors and the famous Treasure Trove full of all kinds of gift finds.
