Brown, a junior swimmer, won the 200-yard individual medley in a state 5A record time of 1 minute, 55.32 seconds on Saturday at the Boise Aquatic Center/West Valley YMCA on Saturday. He was also third in the 200 freestyle relay and 100 breaststroke, helping lead the Timberwolves to a runner-up finish. “Elijah’s dedication to his training is what makes him a huge success,” Lake City coach Shelly Sobek said. “He is a consistent and driven individual that puts forth great effort every day to achieve his goals.”
