Affinity bake, craft sale Thursday

COEUR d'ALENE — Affinity at Coeur d'Alene, a 55 and over community at 3594 N. Cederblom St., is having a bake and craft sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday.

Items range from the very small, such as gift card holders, to decorated Christmas trees. There will be Thanksgiving items, baked goods and silent auctions

The event has raised almost $8,000 in previous years for local nonprofits including United Gospel Mission, Relatives as Parents, Inc. and Family Promise.

Proceeds this year will benefit Inland Safety Net NW.

Affinity at Coeur d'Alene residents held pie, baked potato and pasta sales earlier this year and donated $2,100 to Relatives as Parents, Village Bakery and the American Cancer Society.
