TRIBE’S REZONING: A no-brainer

The tribal land that’s being considered to re-zone is land that escaped theft back in history when something like half of the tribe’s land was confiscated. There is no justifiable reason that this remaining land should be taken and even subjected to the County’s consideration of putting that land to development. The tribe, alone, should be the ones to make any decision, bless their community service nature, and they definitely should elect to keep that land from Kootenai County. The Reservation should be deemed sacred to the memory of what should be their birthright, and in no way reduced in any manner.
