ELECTION: Vote for Gibbons, Griffin and Schroeder or Cassidy

For some strange reason, the Shoshone County Republican Central Committee has endorsed three candidates for the Nov. 7 school board elections. In my opinion, school elections should be nonpartisan. We should all have the same goals for our schools, a great education for our children, and keeping a strong staff with the goal of helping to benefit our community.  

Two of the people on the Republican sponsored posters home school their children, another potential red flag.

We have two candidates running for reelection, Sam Gibbons in Zone 3, and Alexa Griffin in Zone 4, who have done a great job for our children and our district. We also have two new candidates running for Zone 5, John Schroeder and Felicia Cassidy, and I know these two also have the best interest for our children and our district in mind. Unlike the Republican Central Committee, these four candidates have no “agenda."

Please support our two incumbent candidates and John or Felicia.
