ELECTION: Vote for English
I am a native of Coeur d’Alene having lived in Kootenai County for over 75 years. I have had the privilege of knowing Dan English for 63 of those years. But that is not why am endorsing him to be reelected to the Coeur d’Alene City Council.
I have watched him grow from a smiling rambunctious youngster to becoming one of the great stewards for the citizens of Coeur d’Alene and the surrounding area. Not only in politics, but in everything he as touched. I could fill the page with everything he has had a part in either founding or making better from North Idaho Youth for Christ, Anchor House/Idaho Youth Ranch, Agency on Aging, CASA, many non-profit volunteer boards and church councils. The list goes on and on. He does all to this because he loves his community and the citizens who live here.
Coeur d’Alene and the surrounding area are at a crossroads right now. We need someone on the City Council who has experience and knows the community and doesn’t have a political agenda. Dan is his own person. He has proven he doesn’t march to drum of a political party, but he does march with his heart and makes every decision based on what he believes is in the best interests of the citizens he serves. He has demonstrated that commitment to service for others for over 50 years in his hometown.
Dan only has one allegiance and it’s to you, whether you’re a lifer or a new resident.
