MEMORIAL DAY: They gave their lives for our freedom

| May 26, 2023 1:00 AM

As we are about to celebrate Memorial Day, for those who have never served in the military and have no clue what it took in World War I and World War II to secure our freedom. If you have the time to look back on our history and if you have the courage to understand and appreciate the freedom we have today, we need to look back on the brave men and women who served unconditionally in our military in the many battles with Germany and Japan and all over the South Pacific. Thousands of our troops gave their lives so we could live the good life here at home. What about them? Do you have any feelings at all for those brave souls who have perished?

So many folks today, because of their lack of understanding how close we came to losing our country and our freedom have no clue. Today, take a knee and thank those who gave their lives for our freedom we have today. It came at a larger cost than many of us will never fully understand. God help us in the days ahead. The world will never be the same.
