LIBRARY BOARD ELECTION: Don’t believe all you read
There they go again. The “we reject hate” saints at the Coeur d’Alene Press couldn’t resist one last punch at those meanie Christians after losing two seats of power.
Repeat a lie often enough and we know the rest.
The lie that those mean monsters are out there salivating over burned books must continue.
It must be true, they say, because the righteous Saints Meyer and McCrea would never allow one iota of distasteful books in their library.
All those parents who were banned from showing the graphic, sexually criminal materials written exclusively for young children must be wrong and just down right terrible people.
Books that teach children how to be compliant victims of sexual assault couldn’t possibly be in our libraries, but if they were, they’d actually be good for children is the confusing defense.
The lesson is still the same. Don’t believe everything you read.
