Paulette N. Farmer, 78

| May 21, 2023 1:00 AM

Paulette N. Farmer 78, of Hayden, Idaho, beloved daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, friend, teacher and dog-lover, went home to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on May 15, 2023. Although we grieve this great loss in our lives, we know that she is completely whole, worshipping Jesus while holding her baby girl, Denise, standing next to the love of her life, Marv; her mom, Jeanne; and her dad, Norman.

Paulette was born Aug. 26, 1944, to Norman and Jeanne Goede. She was the middle of three siblings, always mothering her two brothers, Norman (Bob) and Jahn Goede. Paulette grew up in Coeur d'Alene Idaho, graduating from Coeur d'Alene High School. She married Dennis Stott of Cd’A and had three children: Denise, Gary and Jeffrey. Later getting divorced, she married the love of her life, Marvin Farmer, on June 3, 1972. At this point, she decided to go to college attending North Idaho College and graduating Cum Laude from the University of Idaho receiving her master's degree in teaching.

Paulette started her teaching career at Post Falls Jr. High, transferred to Borah Elementary and, after 33 faithful years, she retired from Coeur d'Alene High School as a Special Education teacher where she was always the first to arrive and last to leave.

Paulette was proudly born, raised and died in Northern Idaho. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Denise; husband, Marvin Farmer; her parents, Jeanne and Norman Goede. She is survived by her brothers, Bob Goede of Spokane, Wash., and Jahn Goede of Hayden, Idaho; sons Gary Stott of Post Falls, Idaho, and Jeff Farmer (Gina) of Wenatchee, Wash.; grandchildren Patrick Farmer (Hope), Jacklyn Jamieson (Sean), Dustin Steven, Christopher Farmer (Jennifer), Heidi Sims (Robert), Jessica Hughes (Kevin) and Tiffany Stott; and many great-grandchildren.

Paulette was a fierce lover and protector of Jesus, her family, friends, animals and the lost and broken.
