Cd'A mom a quarterfinalist in Super Mom contest

Coeur d'Alene mom MacKara McKenzie is a quarterfinalist in the national Super Mom competition.

Her favorite part of being a mom?

"Being devoted to something much more than myself," she states on her Super Mom contest page at thesupermom.org/2023/mackara-mckenzie.

"The responsibility is daunting, but truly incredible," McKenzie said.

The winner of the Super Mom contest will be featured in Woman's World magazine, take home $20,000 and receive a weekend getaway to Palm Spring, Calif.

Supporters may vote free of charge once every 24 hours. "Hero Votes” may also be purchased to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network.

Votes will be accepted through Thursday.

McKenzie is the mother of 19-month-old daughter Kalea Rose Sebastian.
