Day Shift

Deputies handled a vehicle theft from the Hauser Lake area. The suspect is believed to be the brother of the victim.

Deputies responded to Honeysuckle Beach for several parking problems. Hayden citations were issued to the offenders.

Backcountry deputies responded to Nettleton Gulch Single Track Motorcycle Park for an injury accident. Deputies and medical made contact with the victim and were able to get him off the mountain.

Evening Shift

Deputies responded to Rose Lake General Store for a welfare check. It was reported, through roadside assistance, that a female in the area was heard screaming. Deputies responded to the store and surrounding area but were not able to locate anything.

Deputies responded to a welfare check at a residence in Hayden. It was reported a female had not been heard from for over three days. Deputies arrived on a scene and contacted the female who was highly intoxicated. Medical was requested and the female was transported to KH.

A deputy attempted to stop a motorcycle at Seltice and Cedar. The motorcycle fled from the deputy by running a stop sign and taking off at a high rate of speed. The deputy did not pursue the motorcycle, but later located the same motorcycle, matching jacket and helmet at a business in the area. The motorcycle had fictitious plates so it was impounded and placed into evidence. Later the “owner” of the motorcycle called the tow company wanting to know where his motorcycle was. The deputy attempted to contact the “owner” by phone but was immediately hung up on.

Deputies responded to a suicide threat. It was reported a female had a handgun and was threatening to harm herself. Deputies arrived on scene and were able to convince the female to come out of the residence. She was taken into protective custody and transported to KH.

Night Shift

Deputies responded to a shoplifter call at Super 1 Foods in Hayden. The suspect was contacted and a citation was issued for petit theft.

Day Shift

Deputies handled several property damage accidents throughout the shift.

A deputy responded to a vehicle theft in Hayden. The vehicle was later located in Post Falls and returned to the owner. The suspect is still at large.

Deputies handled a citizen dispute reference to property that was being retrieved from a residence. It was reported that the suspect hit another vehicle with his car. The suspect was cited for malicious injury to property.

Evening Shift

Deputies responded to Super 1 Foods in Hayden for a shop lifting call. Three people, one juvenile and two 18-year-olds, were attempting to steal beer from the store. The parent of the juvenile arrived and took custody of all the suspect, after they received their citations for theft.

A deputy responded to Super 1 Foods in Hayden for someone attempting to steal Vaseline. The suspect was cited and released.

Night Shift

Deputies responded to Spirit Lake for a stolen motorcycle call. A report was completed.

A deputy made a traffic stop at Government Way and Buckles Road. During the stop, it was determined the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested for DUI.

A deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle that was reported to be a DUI driver. During the contact it was determined the driver was in fact under the influence and was eventually arrested for DUI. Drugs were also found so he was also arrested for the drug charges.

Deputies assisted the City of Post Falls Police throughout the night with in progress calls due to them being tied up on a call.
