LIBRARY NETWORK ELECTION: Vote for Meyer and McCrea

I am writing to give my enthusiastic support to re-elect Judy Meyer and Regina McCrea to the Community Library Network Board of Trustees.

I have been on many boards, some elected and some appointed at the local, state and national levels. I know what good board leadership looks like. These two ladies exemplify strong and effective leadership. Our communities in Kootenai and Shoshone counties would be well served by a strong vote of confidence for them on May 16.

Like many of you, I know how important it is to elect leaders who represent our strong and independent Idaho values and what a disaster it can be when people are elected to represent the entire community, but instead only focus on a few selected divisive issues. When someone raises their hand and takes the oath of office, you take it on behalf of all your constituents, young and old, not just those who voted for you, think just like you do, or read the same books you do.

Just like the signs say, vote for M and M on next Tuesday.
