COEUR d’ALENE — A man is facing multiple felony charges after police said he carried on a sexual relationship with a minor and created explicit videos of the conduct.

Jaden J. Isaac, 19, of Coeur d’Alene, is charged with three counts of lewd conduct with a minor under the age of 16 and four counts of sexual exploitation of a child by producing sexually explicit material, all felonies.

The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office responded in January to a report that Isaac was in a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old Coeur d’Alene resident.

The minor’s parent gave police permission to search electronic devices, including phones and computers. A forensic search yielded messages indicating that Isaac and the minor had a dating relationship. The pair reportedly met online.

Isaac wrote in some messages that he knew the minor was 15 years old and that their relationship was illegal, according to court documents.

He reportedly denied having a sexual relationship with the minor when contacted by law enforcement.

Police obtained Isaac’s permission to search his phone, which allegedly contained numerous sexually explicit photos and videos of the minor, some of which also depicted Isaac engaging in sexual activity.

After conducting interviews with Isaac, the minor and others, police arrested Isaac on Monday.

Judge Patrick McFadden ordered Tuesday that Isaac be held on $25,000 bail.

In Idaho, lewd conduct with a minor under the age of 16 is punishable by up to life in prison.
