Intermax engineer Moses selected for distinguished industry fellowship

Intermax Networks, a North Idaho leader in residential and commercial internet, phone and IT managed services, announced Tuesday that network engineer Dustin Moses has been selected for the ARIN Fellowship Program, a distinguished industry fellowship.

ARIN (American Registry for Internet Numbers) is a member-based nonprofit that administers IP addresses and supports the operation and growth of the internet.

ARIN selects a group of up to 10 fellows twice a year to participate in the monthlong program before and during an ARIN Public Policy and Members Meeting. Fellows receive an in-depth, expert-guided introduction to the workings of the ARIN organization and Policy Development Process (PDP), along with opportunities for networking and direct participation in the PDP.

Moses was selected for this year’s ARIN 51 Fellowship Program, covering the United States, Canada and Caribbean/North Atlantic islands.

“Dustin is an amazing guy. A product of North Idaho, he is largely self-taught and highly motivated," said Patrick Whalen, vice president chief technology officer of Intermax.

"He is part of our core group of network engineers that run our large and complex network," Whalen continued. "Thousands of people depend on our network every day and he is one of our team members that quietly keep the world working for the rest of us while we go about our daily lives."

Whalen said it is great that the people at ARIN have recognized Moses' talents.

"We are proud to have Dustin on our team and proud of him and what he has accomplished," Whalen added.
