NIC: Regan and KCRCC should demand trustee resignations

To Brent Regan and the Kootenai County Central Committee: You endorsed and helped elect North Idaho College Board of Trustees: McKenzie, Waggoner and Banducci. Since their election, they have betrayed the voters of Kootenai County by failing to perform their duties to provide responsible leadership for the college and exercise fiscal restraint. Their actions have jeopardized the college’s accreditation, which would decimate the institution; caused Moody’s, a premier business and financial services business since 1909, to downgrade the college’s bond rating; hired a real estate attorney to advise the board at exorbitant expense; and have cause untold thousands of dollars of taxpayers’ money to pay for two presidents and deal with lawsuits which are ongoing.

Isn’t it time for you to demand that these three Trustees you endorsed and backed resign?

It’s just common sense!
