CDA SCHOOL LEVIES: Vote yes

The environment that Coeur d’Alene Public Schools provided for me has played an influential role on who I am today. I was fortunate enough to meet my best friends, participate in numerous activities, uncover a passion for science and the health care field, and discover the person I strive to be. I cannot imagine an environment where younger students don’t get to experience public school this same way. I was fortunate enough to experience these things due to our community’s support. It’s disheartening to watch some in my community that I proudly talk about not understand the importance that these levies hold on the future of our beloved community.

Coeur d’Alene thrives off people who are born, raised and come back as adults to raise families. These are the people who fix our homes, provide our medical services, and serve at our favorite local restaurants. Many of these people who keep our community running have been through our public schools or have children there now. If we want our community to stay resilient and thrive, the success of these levies are crucial. Strong schools make strong communities.

If you are still conflicted, I urge you to volunteer in any of our schools. The minute you step in, I can promise you, you will see the captivating environment and the necessity for it to continue. I ask you to vote YES twice with me on March 14 to continue to make OUR community the best it can possibly be.
