SYMPOSIUM COVERAGE: Adler got it wrong

| March 8, 2023 1:00 AM

I found the front-page article “Holding onto hope for NIC, Kootenai County” a joke and a misleading attempt to misinform the readers. David Adler says “Once you’ve gained power in a one party state, the effort dislodge that regime becomes very, very, difficult. We can’t ever let a state become a one party state,” end quote. Are you kidding me? Let’s look at a few of our neighbors, Mr. Adler. California, Oregon and Washington are all one party states, high tax, high crime, high mass shootings, high cost of living, high fuel costs and on and on and on. Billions in debt. Oregon, California and Washington are like the three stooges running the fiscal responsibility train off the track.

This disgraceful rant painting all conservative voters as on board with a few miscreant NIC board members, is an attempt to do exactly that, claiming to never let happen, you want a one party state and are willing to sling the swamp rhetoric without basis nor fact to achieve that end. And I’m disappointed in the paper for such an incompetent and incomplete objective stance. The college is at risk and that’s a serious issue, take a serious approach.
