NIC: Three trustees are driven by fear

Finally. After all of the misdirection, all of the redirection, all of the gaslighting, Brent Regan tells us why the KCRCC and the three trustees have taken over NIC. Fear. It turns out that the Republicans are scawed of the big bad, wascally, wibewals (al la Elmer Fudd). They’re scared of our impressionable young people being taught ideas that don’t match the John Birch Society’s sacrosanct ideology. (Never mind that the large majority of students are fully-fledged adults, capable of making up their own minds.) The Republicans are scared of what all fascists are scared of — loss of power and influence.

Here’s a suggestion for the KCRCC and their following. Ponder and practice this teaching by an early church founder: “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” I John 4:18. Try replacing those fears with love (and respect) for others.
