NIC: Three trustees should resign

| March 3, 2023 1:00 AM

North Idaho College has been a positive contributor to our community since 1933. It has grown from a community Junior College to regional asset and beyond. Local, effective, civic minded management has enabled NIJC (now NIC) to answer the call, not just as a less expensive stepping stone to higher education, but to area business needs, both vocational and academic. The superb progress NIC has enjoyed for the last 90 years is now being challenged by three members of the Board of Trustees whose motives are vague and disruptive. However, Banducci, McKenzie, Waggoner, you have one last chance to serve the college and the community. Resign! It would be the right thing for you to do and may well be the only path to continued accreditation.
