Team MakeaSwishFoundation went undefeated in their male elite varsity bracket at Hoopfest last weekend in downtown from Spokane. "They were accidentally put in the elite division and thought they were going to get crushed," said Christina Zabel, who submitted the photo. "That made the win all the more exciting." The Golden Era Gang went 5-0 to win its men's bracket at Hoopfest last weekend in Spokane. From left are Tashawn Brown, Jake Childers, Tayvin Nelson and Andru Prado. All live in Coeur d'Alene with the exception of Prado, who moved to Sagle in 2022 after 22 years in Coeur d'Alene. "We’re longtime Cd'A friends," Prado said. "First time forming a team together. Tayvin Nelson’s first-ever hoopfest. We all love playing basketball and have been doing it on a regular basis since we were kids."
