BAYVIEW: Doesn’t need more fireworks

In regard to “Bayview Aims High With Fireworks Fund,” some carpetbagger, developer or misguided newbie always comes along, sees Bayview and wants to make it into something bigger and better. Can’t you just be happy you have found the last best place in North Idaho and leave it alone?

Thankfully all those huddled masses yearning to burn our town down with illegal fireworks will find no place to park in Bayview. So promote all you want and dream of ever expanding drunken crowds for your traditional toxic Chinese fireworks blowout.

Bayview is perfect just the way it is and was before you came along. Please go find somewhere else to make bigger and better. Oh, those places have already been screwed up by someone wanting bigger and better. That is why you moved here. Leave it alone already, enjoy what we have that no one else can match and learn to truly love our quaint, quiet extraordinary Bayview where every day is the Greatest Show On Earth.

How about directing all that energy and actually do something useful? Like making it safe to walk along Perimeter, Cape Horn or Hudson Bay Road. You don’t know what you got, it’s almost gone.
