Coeur du Christ students earn top scores
Coeur du Christ Academy in Coeur d'Alene is celebrating its top students who achieved high scores in the Classic Learning Test and Classic Learning Test 10.
Students Emma Anderson, Maximilian Kressin, Julianna Jenne and Marie Stehlin all scored upward of the 96th percentile in their exams this year.
The Classic Learning Test is an online college entrance exam for juniors and seniors. As an alternative to the SAT and ACT, the CLT is accepted at hundreds of colleges across the country. Over $100 million in scholarships are tied to CLT scores annually.
The CLT10, an alternative to the PSAT, is an online college prep exam for freshmen and sophomores.
"We’re so excited for Emma, Maximilian, Julianna and Marie," Katie Rose Hargreaves, vice president of member relations for the Coeur d'Alene Regional Chamber, said during a May 30 ribbon-cutting and awards ceremony at the school.
"Their achievements are impressive and we look forward to seeing what God has in store for them," she said.
