STATE A LEGION BASEBALL TOURNAMENT: Coeur d'Alene advances; Northern Lakes out
NAMPA — Will Robson drove in three runs, two on a double in the sixth inning for the Coeur d’Alene Lumbermen in an 12-11 win over JNS Baseball of Idaho Falls in the state A American Legion baseball tournament on Friday at Rodeo Park.
Coeur d’Alene (29-8), the lone unbeaten in the tournament, will face the Post 56 Bruins of Idaho Falls today for a bid to the championship game on Sunday. Minico and JNS Baseball will play in the other semifinal today. If three teams remain after today’s semifinals, the Lums will advance automatically to the championship game on Sunday at noon.
Mark Holecek had three hits and two runs scored, Jack Pierce two hits and two runs scored for Coeur d’Alene against JNS Baseball.

NAMPA — Tadgh Ellwood drove in two runs for the Mountaineers, who had their season come to an end after a loss to the Minico Storm at Rodeo Park.
Caleb Mason had two hits and an RBI and run scored for Northern Lakes, which finished 27-13.
