SHOWCASE GOLF: Former Seahawk Hauschka leads after Celeb-Am

COEUR d’ALENE — Former NFL placekicker Stephen Hauschka leads the ninth Showcase golf exhibition after Friday’s Celeb-AM at The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course.

Hauschka, who kicked for the Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII against the Denver Broncos, finished Friday’s round with a modified Stableford score of 34.

Janet Gretzky, actress and wife of Wayne Gretzky, is second with a 33, followed by former Seahawks and Minnesota Viking wide receiver Sidney Rice with a 31.

Vince Coleman, who won the net championship in last year’s tournament, is fourth with 30 points.

The Showcase concludes today starting at 8 a.m.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased by visiting Showcasegolf.com. Kids 13 and under are free with a ticketed adult.

As there is no parking at the course, spectators are advised to use the shuttle provided by parking at North Idaho College off Northwest Boulevard in the North Lot starting at 7:15 a.m. and running until an hour after today’s event. Parking is also available at The Coeur d’Alene Resort.
