ROAD IMPROVEMENTS: Taxpayers deserve better

Lakes Highway District has been dragging their feet for more than 20 years to do any improvements to Highway 54 (one of the most traveled highways in the county). Now this year, they are doing another patch job and Band-Aid while the majority of the roadway is crap. We the taxpayers deserve better than that. If we could get the so-called “Real Life Church” to pay their fair share of taxes, maybe we could get it done, but they are too busy building new churches for their flock. How many churches do they need anyhow? God help us if this is all we can expect from a bunch of Bible thumpers.
