LITTLE LEAGUE: Post Falls teams fall at regionals

SENIOR LITTLE LEAGUE (16U)

Post Falls scored three runs in the top of the first inning, but it was all San Xavier from there as the Tucson squad beat Post Falls 13-3 in five innings at the West Regional in Oakland, Calif.

Post Falls, which lost to Oakland 14-1 on Friday in its first game, was eliminated.

Bryce Berger hit an RBI single for Post Falls in the first, and Caden Perkins followed with a two-run single.

Post Falls out-hit Douglas (Ariz.) 9-6, but fell 9-3 in its third game at the West Regional at Fleischer Park in Nogales, Ariz.

Corbin Tremayne, Dylan Vranich and Wyatt Rettmann each had RBIs for Post Falls, which dropped to 1-2 in the tourney. Finley O’Dell was 2 for 2 with a double.

Post Falls is scheduled to play Woodland, Calif., tonight at 8.
