FREE WILL: ‘Nothing to do with freedom’

Interesting how free will has nothing to do with freedom these days… We watched the nation burn through money buying Chinese fireworks to celebrate independence. We blame Biden for a bad economy, Hunter for a China connection and socialism for insurrection. We call doctors murderers, public servants traitors and slimy politicians saints.

I’m reminded of my free will a lot. Every time the transgender issue is front and center in the LTE. Did every geneticist slash religious scholar retire here just to forget gender identity transfer happens even in heaven? How about when Fox News, Joe Rogan or RFK go off on some scientific tangent that leads to a hunger games scenario? Why is the world debating who’s at the controls of the holodeck?

I am in control of my destiny. We are the stewards of our future. Do you want the human race to outlive the next round of apocalyptic conspiracies, pandemics and heat waves? Does kill them all and let God sort them out sound like a winning strategy?

If not you’d better wear your free will like a badge of honor… Own up to your role in a better society. God will think better of you for it. So will your children’s children.
