Post Falls Festival celebrates city

The Post Falls Festival will flood Q’emiln Park with happy faces and fun-filled family activities this weekend. The parade along Seltice Way will start at 10 a.m. Saturday. Family games, music, car shows and celebrations take place 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at 12201 W. Parkway Drive, Post Falls.

Concerts by Lonesome Lyle, Kevin Shay, Kathy Colton and the Reluctants, The Rusty Jackson Band, Bill Bozly, Pat Coast, Ron Greene Band, Conscious Sedation, Push and High Risk Group are scheduled at the main stage.

A beer garden, vendors and food will be available all weekend, and the Citylink bus will provide shuttle access to the festival highlights.

McDonald's big wheel race and an adult trike sprint will offer family-friendly fun Friday, followed by a showing of "Aladdin."
