Heaven is a lot brighter, as we announce the passing of Payton McKenzie Begovich on June 22, 2023, after a long battle with Brain cancer. Payton was born to Jennifer and Tony Begovich in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, on April 14, 2006.
Payton is survived by her parents, Jenn and Tony; her brother, Alex Standridge; sister-in-law Nina; her niece, Quinn; grandparents Marco and Renee Begovich; Greg and Paula Gruber; Curtis and Patty Vogt; her beloved dog, Baily (big); her cat, Kitty; and puppy Oakley.
Payton was a soft-spoken kid who loved school, her friends, volleyball, camping and, most of all, being with her family. Her smile and sharp wit will be missed. We are counting down the days until we meet again, little buddy. She was a true warrior through it all.
Services to celebrate Payton's life will be held July 8, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Valley Real Life Church, 1831 S. Barker Road, Greenacres, Wash.
