A day for Habitat for Humanity

| July 1, 2023 1:00 AM

COEUR d’ALENE – A local crew from HomeVestors of America recently donated a day of service to Habitat for Humanity of North Idaho.

The team of more than 20 employees, friends and family improved a house for a local family.

“We were happy to volunteer our time, energy and expertise to Habitat for Humanity of North Idaho, and were humbled to see the impact we made by coming together to help our local neighbors in need, said Tanice Myers of Coeur d'Alene, who operates the local HomeVestors franchise with her husband, Paul.

The team focused on the outside of the house. They cleaned, made repairs to the skirting, siding, caulk, and trim, painted both the house and trim, added insulation and tidied flower beds.

The local “We Buy Ugly Houses” people opened an office in Coeur d’Alene in May 2022.
