SUBSCRIBERS: Send us your school levy endorsement, opposition letters
School levies are on the March 14 ballot for voters in Kootenai County’s three largest school districts, and letters to the editor endorsing or opposing these property tax measures are streaming in.
After today, we will publish levy endorsement or opposition letters from Press subscribers only, to ensure our customers have the opportunity to share their knowledge and thoughts on these elections that impact nearly everyone residing in the Coeur d’Alene, Lakeland and Post Falls school districts.
Rules for levy election letters:
• Letters can be no longer than 275 words.
• Only one levy election letter per writer.
• Don’t wait long to submit your letter. Writers who wait until just a few days before the election risk not having their letters published at all.
• The last day The Press will publish school levy endorsement or opposition letters or opinion pieces is March 8.
Subscribers, write your letter and email it to: letters@cdapress.com
Be sure your name, city of residence and telephone number are on the letter. Your phone number will not be published.
While we prefer letters to be emailed, hand-written and typed letters are allowed. Drop them off at The Press, 215 N. Second St. in downtown Coeur d’Alene, or mail them to:
