Zags' Kaylynne Truong named WCC Co-Player of the Week

SAN MATEO, Calif. — Gonzaga's Kaylynne Truong and San Diego's Ayanna Khalfani were named West Coast Conference Women's Basketball Co-Players of the Week. Khalfani's career-high extended the Toreros winning streak to five games while Truong led No. 20 Gonzaga to a win over Portland as the Zags now sit first in the WCC standings.

Truong scored 20 points against Portland on Saturday to reach 1,000 career points in a Gonzaga uniform. Seventeen of her 20 points came in the second half. Truong played 37 minutes and went 50 percent from the arc with four 3-pointers. She dished out a team-high five assists and had four rebounds.
