St. Joseph's Ear, Nose, Throat & Allergy Clinic opens in Post Falls
The new building for St. Joseph's Ear, Nose, Throat & Allergy Clinic has opened at 849 N. Syringa St. in Post Falls.
Services include chronic sinusitis treatment, allergy testing and immunotherapy, chronic ear infections, hearing testing and heating aids, noise and swallowing disorders, sleep apnea and snoring, thyroid-parathyroid disorders and surgery, in-office sinus imaging, ultrasound and FNA of thyroid nodules and head and neck tumors and cancer.
The clinic name comes from St. Joseph, the patron of compassionate care of the sick and injured. Dr. Thomas deTar is assisted by M. Erik Gilbert, Chad McCormick, Philip Gardner, Mallory Bruner and Marisa Ryan.

Dog House Grooming moves in Post Falls
Full service all-breed dog grooming is offered at Dog House Grooming, which moved from Spokane Street to 3122 W. Seltice Way (Suite C of the Auto Paint Plus building).

A neighborhood co-working office space is offered at The Workhorse at 1324 E. Sherman Ave.
Two spaces are available in the house built in 1925 with light-filled offices, classic decor and virtual mailbox service. Owners are Peter and Danielle Kulka and Cody and Emily.

• Construction has begun on major changes to Prairie Falls Golf Club at 3200 N. Spokane St., Post Falls. The 42,000-square-foot facility will have hotel suites with kitchenettes and oversize windows with mountain views and two executive suites and a presidential suite with a private balcony above the golf course. It will also have a large event center with a kitchen and bar, six golf simulator bays, a clubhouse, retail pro shop and local businesses, such as River City Pizza. Owners Rob and Emily Angeli Clark plan to open it in June.
• Mexican-inspired food and a full bar will be available at Cochinito Taqueria when it opens Tuesday at 9426 Government Way (across from Ski Shack) in Hayden.
• Fit Body Boot Camp will be in the Fred Meyer building on Kathleen Avenue.
• Box Drop Mattress & Furniture just opened at 5612 W. Expo Parkway in Post Falls.
• A large building planned to open in late summer or fall for 851 Fourth Ave. (at Idaho Street) in Post Falls will be called Kindred & Co. with books, home goods and a bistro.
• What has been Asian Twist in Ironwood Square (behind Albertson's) will be Our Thai House with major changes. Details here soon.
• A two-story, 26,000-square-foot building for Hayden Surgery Center is under construction at 8552 Government Way. The main floor will include Orthopedic Urgent Care, an orthopedic clinic and a physical therapy office. The second floor will have a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center with four operating rooms and a procedure room. The basement will have storage, mechanical and electrical spaces.
• The large new building at 5711 Government Way will open in March as a new place for Schaffer's Towing.
• A Beau Monde Exchange will be at 9428 Government Way.
• Spoon Junkie or Rogue Carnivore evidently will be a new place at 400 N. Fourth St.
• Phase I of the new Kinder Prep Learning Center is under construction at 1847 W. Prairie Ave. The curriculum promotes hands-on, sensory and play-based learning experiences for ages 18 months to 5 years old in an environment that is nature themed and community driven. • A 20,000-square-foot structure called Prairie Professional is under construction on the north side of the intersection of Prairie Avenue and Ramsey Road. • A new commercial and residential building, Midtown Centre, is being built at 821 N. Fourth St.
• A spy says a restaurant will be built where Atlas Road meets the Spokane River.
• Watch for The Flats motel at Sherman and 21st.
• It's interesting for me that the Kansas City Chiefs are in the Super Bowl because my only Rosdahl cousin, Harrison (Hatch) Rosdahl, was a lineman with the Chiefs when they lost Super Bowl I to Green Bay 35-10 in 1967.
