GOVERNMENT: ‘We are better than this’

The county officials are aghast that one of their own has been secretly recording them. They can’t believe that they have been betrayed in this manner. And all of this happening in the wake of the worst nightmare of officials gone wrong at the college where the behind-the-scenes puppet group is leading board members. The gang of three seems to think that the college has monopoly money to throw away. While this sounds like a script for a television drama, unfortunately, these are our local newspaper’s headlines. Come on, people, we are better than this!
