PREP WRESTLING: Kellogg claims team title at Chad E. Ross Invitational

ST. MARIES — Johnny Stovern (98 pounds), Colton Storey (106), Kolter Wood (132) and Jaeger Hall (145) notched individual titles for Kellogg, which claimed the team title at the Chad E. Ross Invitational on Friday at St. Maries High.

Kellogg finished with 253.5 points, followed by St. Maries with 211.

Kelby Harvey (113), Aiden Yearout (160), Trey Gibson (182) and Scott Sotin (285) won titles for the Lumberjacks.

Timberlake’s Paul Sundstrom (126) and Jonathan Hansen (170) also won titles in the boys tournament, with Shelby Garten (138) winning in the girls tournament.

Potlatch won the girls team title with 74 points.

RENO, Nev. — Lakeland’s Dylan Scott finished sixth at 215 pounds in the Sierra Nevada Classic, which concluded on Friday at the Reno Events Center.

Annika Thompson was fifth at 152 in the girls tournament for Lakeland.

Lakeland was 22nd out of 91 teams with 82.5 points.

Oakdale, Calif., won the tournament with 272.5 points.
