REGAN: No freedom of speech?

A recent opinion column by Brent Regan opened with “the freedom of speech is dead.” If this were true, why would a newspaper that he characterize as “progressive liberal media” allow his opinion to be printed in the first place? It makes me wonder if any of the rest of his opinions are based on fact.
