RCV: Removes voter choice
I’ve been watching and reading the letters to the editor and articles about this Ranked Choice Voting which is in the bill to go back as a Primary Voting system. One Person, One Vote.
I heartily agree with voting instead of a caucus as I’ve done both. However, in this bill they, whoever they are, have added in this Ranked Choice Voting which could take away yours and my choice for that particular office. When I vote that is the person I want to win, not a second choice, not a third choice, but my first choice, no one else. If he/she doesn’t win then that is what happens, the people have spoken. Not so with Ranked Choice.
Voters, please read and understand what is at stake. Your choice is at stake.
Do you want your vote to count or not?
