Silent auction brought in most funds yet for Meals on Wheels

WALLACE — The silent auction to raise money for Silver Valley Meals on Wheels brought in a total of $1,652 Shoshone County DMV Clerk Savannah Cox said that the annual fundraiser at the Shoshone County Courthouse and the Osburn Senior Center brought in more money than any other year.

The decorated trees that raised the most were decorated by the Shoshone Sheriff’s Office at $357 and a tree donated by public works which raised $350.

The tree winners were drawn Thursday, Dec. 14. Funds raised go towards Meals on Wheels funding for food and van upkeep for 2024.
