PETERSON: Reinstatement raises question
I’m writing to ask if there is anyone else who is concerned about the esteemed Judge Peterson getting a six-month paid vacation and being reinstated to the bench after committing no less than three offenses that any of which, by any other company or organization’s standards, would be considered a terminating offense on it’s own. It seems that we are so used to the constant barrage of news reports with police, judges and politicians getting away with fraud and/or other crimes that the every day person would be convicted of that we’ve become numb. So now the news reports go in one ear and out the other. We just go about our daily business as usual.
I guess my question is this; How can a judge who has been sanctioned in one way or another for misdeeds be reinstated to a position of judging others by their deeds?
