DEMS’ LETTER: A different opinion

In reading the KC Dems Exec Committee’s letter to the editor Friday, Dec. 15, I find a need to fact check their statements.

KC Democrats: Brent Regan implied Democrats would like to assassinate Trump.

Fact: Democrat Dan Goldman stated Trump was dangerous and called for him to be eliminated.

KC Democrats: You’ll never see a Democrat break doors and windows on our Capitol armed and angry.

Fact: About 100,000 Democrat led protestors, some armed, stormed the Wisconsin State Capitol costing $7.5 million in repairs.

KC Democrats: Most importantly (and we cannot emphasize this strongly enough) you will never see Democrat leaders encourage violence for political gain.

Fact: Democrat Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer at abortion rally stated “Justice Kavanaugh and Gorsuch I want to tell you you have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price, you won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions. Following Schumer’s statements a man was arrested for trying to kill Kavanaugh. Sitting Vice President Kamala Harris raised funds to bail violent rioters out of jail following Floyd riots. Democrat Representative Maxine Waters told Americans “If you see anybody from the Republican Cabinet in a restaurant, a department store, a gasoline station, you go out and create a crowd. You push back on them. You tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”

KC Democrats: Any insinuation otherwise is simply an ugly dog whistle to summon some folks’ violent tendencies.

Facts: Typical Democrat statement. You are blowing the dog whistle.
