UNSIGHTLY ON SELTICE: And dangerous
I am writing about a sight I am forced to see every time I drive on Seltice Way to leave or get back home. The space is on eastbound Seltice, which I am surprised that the few neighbors have not complained about to my knowledge. The home had been damaged from a windstorm two years ago, a tree fell on the house’s roof. The resident then proceeded to put tarps on the roof and lived there.
About a year ago they started cutting trees down and dismantled the house, much to my great joy. Needless to say that joy ceased when I saw that they had left all the trees and house materials where they fell and had added an old boat they threw onto the disaster. There is so much junk there I was afraid if a match was tossed on the pile people who live next door would be in peril.
I think it is a hazardous area and should be addressed before something awful occurs. This mess is just before Seely Street, but if you drive down Seltice between Huetter and Atlas Roads there’s no way you can miss it, unless you are blind.
